Bogotá's final preparations for the World Travel Awards Gala Ceremony
Next month on October 10th Bogotá welcomes the World Travel Awards Latin America Gala Ceremony 2015
Latest details for the red-carpet ceremony are being prepared, as this year's long waited event promises to be an unforgettable one. The show will be presented both in Spanish and English, for a comfortable night for everybody.
The event will focus on two iconic places in Bogotá: the Teatro de Colón, hosting the award presentations, and the Plazoleta Camilo Torres del Colegio Mayor de San Bartolomé, where the gala dinner will take place.
Awaiting the special ceremony, Director of Bogotá Turismo Director Tatiana Piñeros Laverde declared: “We are going to have a night to remember.
“Winners at the World Travel Awards will be treated to a magical show, against scenery filled with fantasy and spectacle.
“The event is a chance for us to showcase our finest traditions. This includes our theater festival, classic dancing, and artistic expressions of originality.
“This is a chance to Bogotá to exceed the expectations of the world.”
Between the two locations of the event, Bogotá Turismo will project images of the main touristic attractions of the city – Colombian gastronomy, culture and information about the buildings' unique architecture.
Also, the event coordinators will set up a special gathering place, where media representatives will be allowed to meet and interview World Travel Awards winners.
