Banyan Tree, an award winning hospitality group has announced the launch of their new brand called Cassia. The brand comes with its own space.

Exploiting a niche in the market at the right time can be a great business promoter, Banyan Tree believing that they have found such a sector for their newly established brand. It focuses mainly on the serviced apartment sector.

Positioning itself somewhere between the apartment and the hotel, Cassia’s offer is based on two bedroom units who feature flexible living and dining options. This brings a more personal touch to the travel venture of choice.Cassia

Cassia bears a main purpose of bringing together investment opportunities for the middle-class who is searching for a holiday home within their reach. It will also implement a new structure in the hotel service along with its distinguishing business features.

The three principles associated with Cassia are Hospitality, Design and Real Estate. All of these brought together could mean the hotel residences of the future.

The current projects, five in total, are being conducted in Bintan, Indonesia; Gold Coast, Australia; Lijiang, China; Beruwala, Sri Lanka and Phuket, Thailand. Signs of positive feedback have aleady been given as 70% of Phuket and 45% of Bintan have already been sold.

Cassia offers fully-furnished units with one or two bedrooms with a starting prince of $180,000 – the equivalent of a 35 square meter one-bedroom suite.

The selection, however, implies some flexible choices.
