Air France KLM Group is currently expanding its flight services with the launch of a new route from Amsterdam to Windhoek-Namibia, via Luanda-Angola

Starting October, KLM will provide a three-times-a-week service operated by an A330-200 Airbus departing from Amsterdam on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

After the stop-over in Luanda, Angola, the flight will lead to the Hosea Kutako International Airport in the Namibian capital of Windhoek. The return flights are scheduled to leave back to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport from Windhoek every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Following the KLM official announcement, Maureen Posthuma, Europe Area Manager at Namibia Tourism Board, commented:

“We greatly welcome the new KLM flight connection to Windhoek, as it will open up Namibia even more for the European market. Namibia attracts great interest in the Benelux countries, Germany, France and the United Kingdom as well as other European countries, with its many-faceted landscapes. In future, these new direct flights from Amsterdam will fulfill demand even more effectively, inviting travellers to discover the ‘country of endless horizons’ for themselves.”

Namibia is considered to be the ideal holiday destination for people enjoying natural landscapes, rich wildlife and cultural diversity, adventure and a very pleasant all year-round climate.
